Project Boyle
Run by the Cumbrae Spire Charity
on behalf of the Cumbrae Trust
The purpose of the Cumbrae Spire Charity is to preserve and protect the historic buildings and grounds of the Cathedral of the Isles for the benefit of the island, its vibrant community and the people of Scotland.
Its function is to maintain one of the most important groups of nineteenth century ecclesiastical architecture in Scotland it will repurpose the collegiate buildings and grounds as income producing assets.
Project Boyle will re-purpose and redevelop parts of the site of the cathedral and college for the island and its vibrant community and will create a viable business from which to raise sufficient ongoing funds to run the cathedral and grounds for years to come.
