Our Rooms

We have opened up individual room bookings in our beautiful historic *North College* from Friday 1st August with a minimum 2 night stay.

- 5 doubles/twins en suite

- 4 singles some with 2 additional folding beds, with a basin

- 3 or 4 separate bathrooms and WCs.

- shared living room with a fridge and kettle

- large garden in cathedral grounds

- private parking

- bring your own towels and sheets

- NB: there are *no* kitchen facilities beyond a kettle and a fridge, but there are plenty of eateries in Millport.

All proceeds to the 'Cumbrae Aspires' SC051547 registered charity raising funds for the maintenance and development of the Cathedral, its College and grounds and for the benefit of the community.

It is not in a new state - it is in an old building which has not been refreshed for a couple of years. There is some old plaster and paint work needing attention and some of the windows are a little draughty.

However, it is a beautiful historic, ecclesiastic listed building with an up to date fire system, electric, heating, hot water, etc and as clean as we can get it!

We are looking to raise money to refurbish it, South College and to implement the project that has been approved to develop other areas of the site, such as the green burial site, a dog run and lavender fields, all for the benefit of the cathedral and the community on Cumbrae. We are a registered charity and we are just running this as volunteers.

* There is a kettle, microwave and fridge in the common room.  There are mugs and teaspoons.  There are no washing up facilities, but you could bring cereal and your own bowls and spoons to rinse in the wash basin

*Please Note*

- you need to bring your own bedding- no kitchen facilities

- no 'hen' or 'stag' parties or other drunken gatherings

- this is run by volunteers raising money for charity, so please be kind and leave it as you find it

- no dogs save assistance dogs- please be mindful that this historic protected building is the College of the Holy Spirit which has always been a magical place of learning, spiritual retreat and there is an active congregation who attend the Cathedral.

- please be respectful that there are those who come to the site to visit the graves of their loved ones.(Existing host STL being applied for from NAC)
